Here it is! The August Layout Class

I know some of my favorite people are going out of town and won't be able to join me Monday night. I'm a little sad not to see your smiling face : ( that's okay... because you did good and signed up for a class kit. : ) So... I will see you next month! : )

With that said....Here's the August Lay Out....
Me hopes you like it...

Your World, Right Now
"All About Boy" Series with me!

This months layout utilizes earthy tone colored collections from two popular lines, Basic Grey and Pink Paisley! You see, it’s okay… be brave… mix and match those patterned papers from different companies. This layout will encourage you to capture the "World" of your boy. Regardless of their age… remember it’s so important to capture all their favorite things "Right Now". How wonderful it will be when your boy can look back on this layout and reminisce about their most prized possessions. I wish I would have created this page when Cody was much younger. At 1 year old...his world was a Winnie the Pooh blanket, a teddy bear and a NUK binky. How cute. Better late than never for me. But for you...don't miss out...create this lay out right now!

Join me…this is a layout must have for your albums.
Call now! Reserve your spot! You won't want to miss this one.

What's a scrapper to do...

Hi! All,
Yup..what's a scrapper to do with all this stuff. I can't wait to get my hands into the black Doodlebug Sugar Coating and make some brilliant. You know what...my challenge to myself is not to use a brush to paint on the Making Memories paint. Are you scratching your head wondering what I'm going to do? Be patient and I'll reveal the creation for the August class LO at It's About Time Scrapbooks.

What Happened?

Want to know what the McCoys did to enjoy the 3 day weekend? We went to the cabin...it's so nice during the summer months. I know I'm kinda strange, unlike most people I love the mountains in the summer time. Don't get me wrong I also think winter white snow covered peaks are breath taking. Remember, I'm the island girl... from Guam. I like warm weather much, much better than cold weather.
I cooked up a rugged breakfast for the family...eggs, bacon and muffins. Yummy. Most of the day was spent at Swim Beach on Big Bear Lake. The water was super refreshing.

Hannah took up tennis last November with her Coach Dad. We just found out she also loves to play badminton. And me? I participated in my favorite sport....People Watching!

Dinner was on the go... a bucket of KFC, (Gotta luv it!) as we waited for the fireworks over the lake.

First Day of School

The kids started school this past Monday. Notice...the new hair styles? Of course both of them were excited to wear the new outfits and use the new backpacks. What an awesome adventure...to learn new concepts, make new friends and accomplish new tasks.

That deserves a HIGH 5!

She makes me giggle!!!

Hannah has enjoyed lots of swimming these hot summer days. The other afternoon she said, "Mom, I can hear waves of water in my ears." I replied, "Oh, no...why don't you tilt your head sideways then jump up and down. The water should make it's way out." She squinted her eyes, wrinkled her nose, raised her arms and said, "Mom...If I do that...them all the SMART will fall out!"

hehehe...
