Reminder to self...

I go camping for these reasons...

1. Spending quality time with the people I love.
2. Food always tastes better when cooked on a campfire.
3. There's something amazing about the process of melting marshmallows for a s'more.
4. The scenery is breathtaking.
5. My kids absolutely love it!

Thank you!!!

A huge thank you to all my wonderful students! I had so much fun... so much fun that... I'm ready for more teaching...are you ready for more learning? If you weren't able to join us, no worries... just mark you calendar for April 21st. Here's a sneak peak at the products we'll be playing with at next month's class?

It's the "Playlist" collection from Daisy Bucket.

I'm ready to play...are you?

My Very 1st Class...

Many of you want to see the Layout for my very FIRST class. Here it is...
Call It's About Time Scrapbooks to reserve your spot...951-304-3422

Read what Mel wrote:

All About Boys with Shelby! ***NEW***
Please join Shelby in creating this NON-traditional boys layout featuring shades of purples and greens. Did you think it was "wrong" to showcase a boy in softer colors?? Well, this class is meant to show you that even the most masculine activities can be preserved and captured in a beautiful way...regardless of color choices. You will do different techniques like stamping with foam and acrylic...learn how to work with different pattterned papers and find out the design RULE of thumb that Shelby applies to every layout she creates. She joins us on this night in her very first class with us...but you are no stranger to her work. She has been designing for us for well over a year...she continually inspires and impresses us with her wonderful creations...page after page...We love this lady and we know that you will too!
Class Time: March 24th, 2008 @ 6:00pm Cost: $20.00

Guess what...

I submitted 2 layouts to Basic Grey's Online Gallery and yipeee...they were chosen.

take a look, see...

For those of you who have not been to the store lately...It's About Time... Scrapbooks and More, Murrieta. Just drop everything you are doing right now... and go there! What you will see on display, in the center of the store is the most happiest little garden buckets filled with altered paper mache letters. The best part can't really be seen in the photo below. The only way to fully enjoy the delight is to see them LIVE with your very own eyes and absorb the visual cuteness in person. It was sheer fun to create this project and I can't wait to hear from all of you...

So get to the store...and tell me what you think? TYFL!!!

This is...

Yes, this is...my very first attempt to be a blogger...let's just see how I do. My BBF, Kristie created her blog to get exposure in the industry. I'm super, crazy excited for her and can't wait to see the many doors that will open.

My plan with this blog isn't so grand. All I want to do is start... leaving my legacy. Hopefully when you visit you can learn more about lil' ol' me as I aspire 2 inspire.
