Cool Daily...

Long before being "Green" was cool, way before there was a channel dedicated to being "Green" and as long as I can remember my dad has always looked for ways to reuse and recycle. Growing up as a child we ate meals from a Japanese style wood table that he hand crafted with a base from a reused Japanese stool. I really wish I had a picture to share with you...maybe I can dig one up and share later. Until I find a picture you'll have to trust me, it was cool. Keeping with the movement of reducing our impact on the environment...I wanted to share this. I know many fellow paper scrappers use and cut up pieces of the holiday cards they receive to create embellishments for their scrapbook layouts. After your layout is created but before you place the cards in the trash, stop off here and help plant some trees!

Snow follow up

The camera was only pulled out once, while at Snow Summit. Can you blame me? I was too stressed... worried about falling on my behind and trying to figure out how to get on the chair lift. Kids are amazing! Hannah took to skiing as though she was born with them on her feet. Dad's a great coach. Cody's been boarding many, many times and was very patient with the nu bee mom. After a few runs, Hannah and I were pretty able so dad and Cody took off to conquer the bigger slopes.

Our family friend, Andrew is leaving for boot camp tomorrow. We hope he has the best time of his life! It will definitely be challenging each and every day, but we know he will stay motivated and keep the end result in mind. We look forward to all his successes. Go Army!
